Can we use Android 5 Lollipop or 6 Marshmallow users and profiles?


NetAddictMobile is compatible with Android 6 Marshmallow and previous Android versions

Setting user accounts for Android 5.1 and above:

Target:
  • Get an Android user "owner" protected by a password / PIN code: accessible only by parents.
  • Get an Android user "All Users" protected by NetAddictMobile: accessible for children with user accounts managed by NetAddictMobile.
  • Do not allow "Guest" and device reset to children.
Remarks: 
  • Only the Android "owner" user can add a "guest" account.
  • The Android "All Users" account can neither create or connect a "guest" account, or reset the device.
 
Modus operandi:
  • Create an Android user "All Users"
  • Secure "owner" account:
    • With the "owner" account, change the "owner" password to prevent access from All Users (Change PIN, password or pattern) 
  • Install NetAddictMobile on "All Users" user
